Project of the Month - by Timmygadget

Hello, its the Project of the Month slot again, for the month of March we have been crunching LHC@home with good success, this project is sporadic in letting out workunits but we have done well considering this. We started with 15 members on the team and after the newsletter was sent out that number increased to 22. We would like to say a big thank you to all those who helped, also please try to continue to contribute to these projects after they have finished their project of the month status, it all helps in making Team Ireland a more formidable force on the international scene.

April - uFluids@home

Team Irelands project of the month for April is uFluids@home, this project has been producing a regular steady stream of work lately and personally I think its an ideal project for us to make progress on. At this moment in time we have 13 members on the team, an average credit of 2500 a day and a total credit of just over 200000. We need as many volunteers here as possible for this project so please consider joining.

What is μFluids?

μFluids project is a massively distributed computer simulation of two-phase fluid behavior in microgravity and microfluidics problems. Our goal is to design better satellite propellant management devices and address two-phase flow in microchannel and MEMS devices. Voluntary collaboration of individual computer users, like you, can participate by donating idle computer time using the BOINC software.
