If you are running any BOINC projects on your computer, you should join team Ireland on each of those individual projects. There are over 1 million BOINC users and the only way we can offer you support and help is if we can find you on the team. Just joining the team on one BOINC project does not mean that you will automatically have joined the team on all the projects. Every BOINC project is separate and you should join team Ireland on each of them separately too.

IMPORTANT
If you connect your computer to any BOINC project, you should try to understand what the project does. Some of the projects listed here are in alpha or beta stage of testing and are not fully ready yet for public release. Educate yourself before running a BOINC project that you may not understand. Click on the project homepage button first and find out what that project is about.

Getting started

Each BOINC science project listed here has 5 pieces of information.

1. Project Name & URL; This is the name of the project and the URL or Internet address that you can use in BOINC manager to attach your computer to the project.

2. Project homepage button; This button will take you to the project homepage so you can find out more about the project.

3. Create Account button; This button will take you to the project page where you can create an account on that project. Its always best to create your account on a project by attaching to it using BOINC manager on your computer!

4. Join team Ireland button; This button will allow you to join team Ireland on that project only. Click the button and click "Join Team" on the next page. Then do this for each project you are running.

5. Ireland team page button; This button will open the team Ireland page on that project so you can check to see how you are doing on that project and view team members and statistics.
